We welcome all photographers, regardless of their camera choice, including those using phone cameras.

What we do…..

We have a monthly theme which helps to focus our minds on which images to take before our monthly meeting. At our Tuesday meetings, we hope to show about three of our pictures each to discuss and receive feedback, including positive critique.  These meetings also allow time for general discussion around photography and equipment, and planning for shoots, outings, etc.

The themed images can have been taken in the last 12 months, but should be shown at the appropriate month's meeting. We are looking for images which not only fit the brief but also please you, or which you would like the group to advise on improvement. We showed on average 3 images each..

The emphasis is to have fun with our photography and enjoy the social side with our members.

A certain level of skill and knowledge is expected, as well as a desire to improve. We are a mutually supportive group with differing skill sets and equipment, and always happy to help each other.

For those who need to update their skills or get to know and understand the basics of their cameras there is a beginners group, members of which we hope will then join this improvers group to progress further with more established members to help and guide as needed.

We normally publish some of our photos on the Romsey Archway Facebook page shortly after the monthly meeting. Some curated images from 2024 and 2025can be found here.
