The guitar group was formed to open the possibility for existing guitarists to exchange musical ideas and to learn more about the instrument from each other by sharing pieces and techniques. Those who want to can learn about the variety of guitars - from classical to rock, from blues to perhaps some jazz. By exploring different musical techniques, we help each other to progress. We share what we have learnt and so learn from each other. By choosing a selection of pieces to work on together, each individual can make progress within the group, performing and, hopefully, creating music.
The group does regular live performances.
The group is currently full but if you are interested in helping to form another Guitar group please contact the Groups Coordinator who will help to start another group when there is sufficient interest.
