    Gift Aid

    If you are eligible and agree to participate, Romsey Archway u3a can reclaim gift aid worth 25p for every pound of your membership fee.

    u3aMatters Magazine

    The u3aMatters magazine is published four times a year by the u3a National Organisation. You may opt to receive the magazine as part of your membership of Romsey Archway u3a.

    Terms and Conditions of Membership.

    All members must:

    • Abide by the principles of the u3a movement.
    • Always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute.
    • Abide by the terms and conditions of our constitution.
    • Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times.
    • Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
    • Advise the Membership Secretary of any change in your personal details.

    Privacy Statement

    By signing the membership form, you give Romsey Archway u3a permission to use the information you have supplied in the following ways:

    • Securely store and use the data for membership purposes only.
    • Allow us to communicate with you via the internet or telephone on u3a business, including group information, newsletters, and information from the Third Age Trust.
    • To allow Group Leaders or organisers to interact with members of individual groups.
    • Where the u3a is made aware of any individual’s special needs, then that data may be shared with Group Leaders or committee members.
    • If a member has no internet access, we may share their data appropriately to put a “buddy” system in place.

    Please note that if you do not allow us to use your data in this way, you will not be able to join this u3a. More details of our policies are available on our website. By signing this application form, you are agreeing to our use of the data you have provided on this application form.

    u3a Matters Magazine

    The u3a Matters magazine is published five times a year by the Third Age Trust. To receive the magazine, the u3a will need to pass your personal details to the Third Age Trust and the magazine's publishers. Romsey Archway u3a has no control over how that data is managed, but we are assured that the data will be safely stored.

    Membership for the year 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027

    The annual membership cost is £9.00. If joining from 1st December, the fee until 31st March 2026 is £5.00. These fees include £4 towards the Third Age Trust, our National u3a, for services which include insurance. 

    If you belong to another u3a as a full member, you have already paid the £4, so the fees above will be reduced to £5.00, or £1.00 from 1st December.
