Despite all the rain, the group went ahead with our February walk, organised and led by John, and apart from one quick shower the weather kept fine. Wisely sticking mainly to gravel pathways we started out from the Fritham car park and followed a route through the Forestry England inclosures.
The streams were flowing well, there was birdsong and some good opportunities for chatting with group members as we made our way around. Whilst a couple of the group needed to rush off at the end, those remaining enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Royal Oak.
