At our August visit we enjoyed wonderful views of colourful Willow Warblers and were treated to a fly by from a trio of Great White Egrets.

We also spotted a Robin's Pincushion
This distinctive growth lives up to its common name.
Typically found on wild roses. It appears as a red round and hairy or moss like structure. They are generally considered harmless to the host.
It is caused by the larvae of a tiny gall wasp Diplolepis Rosae.
