The u3a is a charitable organisation for people in their "3rd age" i.e. no longer in full-time employment and therefore having time to rekindle old interests/hobbies or start new ones. The ethos of the u3a nationally is "Live, Learn, Laugh". In the Romsey Archway u3a, we certainly follow that in our groups and as individual members.
Romsey Archway u3a was established in 2017. We are a vibrant, energetic group of people who not only enjoy the benefits of being interest group members but also engage in club-wide social events throughout the year. These events include regular speaker meetings, quizzes and social gatherings.
Membership of the u3a will help you meet new people and increase your social circle, so why not join up for some added interest and fun in this phase of your life?
We are a club of some 400 members with over 40 interest groups. We are sure you will find these to be of interest. However, if your special interest is not covered, why not join us, and we will help you set up a new interest group.
