Eleven members met for our first meeting in the upstairs room of The Cocky Anchor on Monday 26th November.

The topic was the space probe Voyager 1, which visited Jupiter and Saturn and has now left the solar system and has now travelled further than any other man-made object. The image on the left is a (tiny) model of Voyager 1A lively discussion was had.

The group is looking forward to our meeting on 23rd November, at which an external expert will talk about the science of eggs, with a hands-on practical!
