On August 14 members of the group, led by Ann Waters met for a 3.5Km walk round West Wellow, which included crossing the ford via the bridge and then on to St Margaret's church (where Florence Nightingale is buried), passing a vineyard and through woods.

The walk ended at Headlands Farm Coffee Shop for welcome refreshments.
