Reporting

Forward an SMS/Text Message that appears to be a SPAM: 7726

Forward a Phishing Email: report@phishing.gov.uk. Phishing is a cybercrime that uses fake emails, websites, or messages to trick people into sharing personal or financial data

Reporting any suspicious activity to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or www.actionfraud.police.uk

Contacting your bank fraud team, dial 159. For further information see the stopscamsuk.org.uk website.

Additional Action if required

If you are worried that your details have been stolen, noticed any unusual account activity, or do you have contact with an organisation that has recently lost or leaked sensitive data? You may be at risk of becoming a victim of identity fraud, for additional security, you can apply for CIFAS Protective Registration via their website at https://www.cifas.org.uk.
