For members who speak enough French to hold a reasonably detailed conversation, follow most of a French TV programme and understand most newspaper articles, up to those who speak, read and write French fluently. We are a friendly and informal conversation group, and we also have grammar and vocabulary resources available. We circulate a choice of subject in advance e.g. ‘My Garden’, ‘Favourite Recipes' or ‘Favourite Films’, for those who wish to do some gentle preparation.
We are flexible about future activities and are hoping to invite local French native speakers to make short presentations or come to chat with us in the future.
