On Friday evening, approximately 50 members of the Romsey Archway u3a gathered at Crosfield Hall for an Easter quiz that tested wits and wisdom.
The quiz comprised six rounds of questions, each varying in difficulty to challenge everyone. The teams engaged in a battle of intellect, with each round drawing them closer in scores. As the final round concluded, the scores were tallied, and jokers played, revealing that only a few points separated the winners from the rest.
Adding to the evening’s enjoyment was the fish and chips meal (with alternative options). The meal allowed team members to discuss their strategies for the upcoming rounds.
The event also featured a picture and anagram table quiz, which provided an additional layer of engagement. Participants pondered over the visual and word puzzles, adding to their overall score. The evening concluded with the customary raffle.
The Easter quiz night at Crosfield Hall was not just a test of knowledge but yet another example of an enjoyable event arranged by the committee. Thanks to Sue Keith and John Roe for the organisation, Dave Green for hosting and the members for participating.
